Welcome to KrishnaTools ("we", "our", "us"), operated at www.develop.krishnaquiz.com. This privacy policy explains what data we collect (almost none), how we use it, and your rights.

TL;DR — The Short Version

• We do not collect your name, email, or personal information.
• All tool calculations happen in your browser — your data never reaches our servers.
• We use Google Analytics for anonymous traffic stats only.
• AI tool prompts are sent to Google Gemini API for processing — not stored by us.
• No accounts, no logins, no tracking cookies (except Google Analytics).

1. Information We Don't Collect

KrishnaTools is designed for privacy first. We don't ask for or store:

• Your name, email, phone, or address
• Your financial data (loan amounts, SIP details, salary, etc.)
• Your text content (chat messages, words you count, code you compress)
• Your uploaded files (images, PDFs)
• Your IP address (beyond what your browser sends to Google Analytics anonymously)

2. Information We Do Collect (Anonymous)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are popular. Anonymous data includes:

• Pages visited (e.g., "/14-gst-calculator/")
• Country, city (approximate, from IP geolocation)
• Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop)
• Browser type (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
• Time spent on each page
• Referring source (Google search, social media, direct)

This data is anonymized and used only to improve the site. We never sell or share it.

3. Local Storage (in Your Browser)

Some tools save your work locally in your browser using localStorage. Examples:

• AI Chat history (saved in your browser only, not sent to us)
• Saved blog articles (Noir Journal)
• Crypto portfolio holdings
• Task lists (Atelier Tasks)
• Password generator history (last 5 generated passwords)

This data stays on your device. Clear browser data to wipe it.

4. Third-Party Services

Google Gemini API

Our AI tools (Quiz Generator, YouTube SEO, Email Writer, AI Chat, etc.) send your prompts to Google Gemini API. Google's privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy

What we send: your prompt text only. We do not include personal info, IP, or any identifier.

CoinGecko API

The Crypto Tracker (Tool 02) fetches live prices from CoinGecko. This is a read-only request — no personal data is sent. Their policy: https://www.coingecko.com/en/privacy

ExchangeRate-API

The Currency Converter (Tool 17) fetches exchange rates from open.er-api.com. No personal data is shared.

Google Analytics

For anonymous usage stats. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google Fonts

We load fonts from Google Fonts CDN. Google may log your IP when serving fonts. Google privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies, all set by Google Analytics for anonymous tracking. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing tags.

To disable cookies, adjust your browser settings. Most tools will continue to work without cookies — only Google Analytics tracking is affected.

6. Data Security

Because we don't collect personal data, there's almost nothing to secure. However:

• All connections use HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
• The site has HSTS enabled (forces secure connections)
• Security headers prevent XSS, clickjacking, and MIME sniffing attacks
• No user accounts means no passwords to leak

7. Your Rights (GDPR / DPDP Act 2023)

Under the EU GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

• Access — see what data we have (we have none personal to you)
• Delete — request deletion (we have nothing to delete)
• Opt out — install browser extensions to block Google Analytics
• Contact us — email krishnapriya432001@gmail.com with any concerns

8. Children's Privacy

Our tools are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. If a parent believes their child has somehow shared data, contact us immediately.

9. Affiliate Disclosures

Some tools (SIP Calculator, EMI Calculator, etc.) display affiliate banners for financial services (Groww, Zerodha, BankBazaar, ClearTax, etc.). If you click and sign up, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This funds the site and keeps tools free.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Significant changes will be highlighted on the homepage.
